Steve, I'll ask you because I'm asking all the candidates...what is your position on the promenade? This is the most important question of this campaign. We're already watching the Route 40 corridor die a slow death. The promenade would have the same effect on Frederick Rd. and, I think, be the beginning of the end for Catonsville as we know it.

Dear Steve , Per our conversation I feel that a change is badly needed in our County Council District. Sam Moxley turned me off when he caused a car accident on I-95 and tried to show his fake sorrow for what he did. I confronted him about it and he side stepped the question.

I am a Director with the Maryland Disabilities Forum and I needed his help when my mother got kicked out of Glenn Taff in Catonsville for no reason. He just blew me off. I then told him if I had the money I would run against him because I could do a better job than him.

He does not care at all for elderly or disabled people. Since our conversation I have decided to become part of your team and look forward to working with you personally to get elected.

What ever I can do for you let me know. I have a vast knowledge in all areas of business, marketing and advertising as well as web design, hosting and web submission services and corporate law and paralegal experience as well.

Lets have lunch soon and work for a better tomorrow together. God Bless You!!

Lowell, Thanks for your glowing comments about Steve and his service with Crosby Crossing Swim Club. When he talks about this pool, I can tell just how passionate he is, not just about the pool itself, but also about the people he works with there. We'll be sure to add these credits to his "About Me" page. I'm sure we'll be seeing you around the campaign trail, right?

Steve Whisler has been key in changing the direction that Crosby Crossing Swim Club, his neighborhood pool, has taken. Steve Whisler was voted onto the board in 2003. He started as the Membership Director, and in 2007 he moved into the Treasurer's position. He carried both positions until the end of the pool season of 2009. He stayed the treasurer, but had to give up the Membership Director position, at his own choice. He has brought the pool from the stone ages to the 21st century. Our pool now has Excel spreadsheets showing us where and how our money is spent. He has devoted alot of his own personal time, and energies into making and keeping the pool a family-environment for all to enjoy. He also took, with others, the Pool Operators course so that he can help in that regards. He has also been key in obtaining and securing a contract with T-mobile for a cell tower. Their lease will help the pool financially. It is in this way that we hope to be able to start giving back to the members of this pool, and encouraging others to join an already established, and friendly pool. He has also reached out to several other cell carriers and quieried them as to them wanting another place to help enlarge their business. We currently have Verizon answering this question. So, he has been key in locating, and securing, TWO cell carriers for the betterment of the pool. He still is currently on the board, for one more year. I can only hope that his replacement will continue as fine a job as he started.

I notice that no mention of his pool service was in there, the page "About Steve". I realize that mention of him working at his pool might be detracting, but it should be realized that he has put effort into everything he has done, including the pool. While some will see it as I do, and others may say "so what?", it is an achievement to be recognized and mentioned. Meaning I see it as hard work, and determination. Others may think, "so? a pool? who cares?" Thank you Steve Whisler for ALL that you have done for and on behalf of CCSC(Crosby Crossing Swim Club).
